RUGBY LEAGUE

Youngsters will be put through their paces and taught how to play rugby league the Warriors’ way – and we’re giving four lucky kids a free place on the camp.

Coaches from the DW Stadium – including former Barrow Raiders boss Dave Clark, now Warriors’ community development officer – will be at Askam on August 10, Walney Central on August 11, Barrow Island on August 12 and Ulverston on August 13.

The cost of the camp with the current Super League table-toppers is £20 per child, and places must be pre-booked by phoning 0871 66 33 552. All of the camps run between 9am and 3pm.

However, girls and boys have the opportunity to win in a free place at one of the camps by entering our competition. All you have to is answer the following question: ‘Who is the current Wigan Warriors’ head coach?’

Send your answers to the Evening Mail sports desk, Newspaper House, Abbey Road, Barrow, LA14 5QS, marking your envelope ‘Wigan Warriors Competition’.

Deadline for entries is Tuesday August 3. Usual Evening Mail competition rules apply.
