One law for the rich...
Published at 11:29, Thursday, 30 July 2009
IN the News & Star on July 22 on page seven you had a column devoted to a Workington man who threw a cigarette butt away in sight of an environmental warden.
On the television news last night pictures were shown of both Steven Gerrard and Amy Whitehouse leaving a courthouse. Can we look for the prosecution of Amy Whitehouse for littering in full view of the TV cameras? She removed from her mouth a slender white stick and casually threw it away.
No doubt, as in all things, it will be a case of one law for the rich and another for the poor!
