MILLOM Cricket Club professional Majeed Jehangir is holding coaching sessions for kids at the club’s St George’s Road ground in August, for seven to 16-year-olds.

The practice sessions take place from 10am to 3pm on August 9-11 and August 16-18, and cost £30 for one session and £55 for all three sessions.

If a coaching session is called off due to rain, the child can attend the next day’s coaching free of charge.

Players are asked to bring a packed lunch, drink and their cricket gear. Application forms can be returned to Majeed, an ECB level two qualified coach, at 59 Holborn Hill, Millom, or to the clubhouse, and cheques should be made payable to Majeed Jehangir.
