Dalton zoo expansion plan rejected

PLANS to expand South Lakes Wild Animal Park have been rejected.
Zoo boss David Gill had submitted a planning application to Barrow Borough Council to build a new road entrance and a mega car park at the Dalton animal park.
But members of the planning committee today refused the application on the grounds of overdevelopment in a rural area.

If anyone should feel strongly about this or any other Council matter simply pick up the phone or e mail your local Councillor (contact details on the Barrow Borough Council website) and give them what for. They are our elected representatives. Make them work for their allowances!!

If this was for a pub or a night club there would be no problem with permission this council has no idea what this town needs pick up and pack off mr gill to some where that will back you, we are
